Gathering Grove Productions was founded in July 2005 by Patricia Causey on the Mississippi Gulf Coast.  Patricia has been a life-long performing artist and human rights' activist.  Combining these two forces so integral to Patricia's everyday life was the impetus of Gathering Grove Productions.

Anthropologists say that our ancestors became human once they could express and understand Art.  Socially-conscious Citizens of the World acknowledge that every human being has basic rights that are universal and non-negotiable.

Therefore, our mission is simple:

Gathering Grove Productions focuses on Working for Human Rights through the Arts.

Hurricane Katrina hit just after we started up and stalled us for a while.  We geared back up in February 2006 and have been plugging away under the difficult circumstances of the rebuilding process.

Yet, as the company enters its sophomore year, we are putting our many lessons learned to good use as we look to the future -- a future that hopefully includes YOU!
